As of 2018, the "Matres - International Festival of Ceramics for Women" took place with the First Biennial Festival. That event concluded with great success and the opening of new delegations of the Association throughout Italy and Europe. Further strengthening the unique activity of the Association is the recognition given to it in the international arena by the European group AEuCC (As. City Cer.EU) in December 2018.
The 2nd edition of the Matres - International Festival of Ceramics for Women, held Aug. 28-30, 2020, due to the health emergency caused by the coronavirus, was held in virtual form through a dedicated digital platform. It was a special edition made up of exhibitions, events, conferences, workshops and connections around the world to spread culture and art in all its expressions. A series of meetings started from Cava de' Tirreni headquarters of the Association and Campania, connected with the rest of the world. The events involved about 190 artists from 27 countries, more than 400 works were selected and exhibited on the Association's website galleries.
The "Matres" exhibition has been divided into three sections to enable all women artists to participate in this global event with a quality selection: Matres Gold for a circle selected within the "High Ceramics" project from among the world's greatest recognized ceramic artists, Matres Silver for women ceramists who have experience in ceramics at the professional level, and Matres Copper for women ceramists with experience in ceramics for at least five years.
