L'PANDORA ARTISTS CERAMIST Association  already formed as a group in September 2012, was officially born in November 2013, and became "the protagonist of many events and exhibitions, which have involved with passion, enthusiasm and love for ceramics numerous women ceramists from Italy and other countries."

La purpose Of the Association is to enhance and promote the Art of Ceramics "female",to support women through the ceramic creations of women artists.

The proposed activities focus on ceramics as a creative and educational medium and tool for self-respect and respect for others, in accordance with its ambivalent characteristic: "resilience in fragility." and, by virtue of this nature, caters predominantly to women.

The goal is to activate projects and events conceived and acted upon by women for a different vision of things, one that goes beyond any productive category interests, but implements broader cultural operations capable of renewal in our society.

Founding projects include the "women's ceramics project" which takes off from the conscious use of the Ceramics as a medium and tool with complex value, a vehicle for the dissemination of a cultural process of women's change for a new society through the building of broken ties and relationships in a new and global vision.

As of 2018, the "Matres - International Festival of Women's Ceramics" and the editions to follow have given the Association a recognizable identity in the international scene and provided a response to a need for artistic representativeness declined and thought of as female but aimed at all sectors of societies.
