The tree, already in the earliest artistic representations of man, and in all primitive cultures, is a powerful symbol of life, strength, wisdom, so much so that it itself became a deity or seat of gods. My work stems from these suggestions and represents a plant creature that, in the intertwining of its branches/fingers, preserves an egg, an emblem of life. My tree is meant to augur a return to our lost connection with nature, essential to survival on planet Earth.
