Milky Way III

It is a composition of 6 shapes (gourds), made in a mold with porcelain casting and fired at a temperature of 1250°C.

Food is indispensable for our lives. Evidence of food preparation appears already in cave drawings. The discovery of pottery allowed easier preparation, storage, and transportation of food, and people then started decorating these utilitarians, ceramics with patterns transferring their culture and customs to the surface. Two arts, in a harmonious interplay the art of food preparation and the art of making ceramic vessels, have contributed to nourishing and nurturing both soul and body .
