Four women ceramic artists, Deborah, Martina, Paola, and Robbie, met for the first time in Icheon, South Korea, in 2019, thanks to the Pandora Artiste Ceramist Association, of which they are members, at the International Women Ceramist Festival, where they exhibited at the Woljeon Museum of Art. The following year they were together again in Faenza, on the occasion of the exhibition The Mediterranean organized by the Carlo Zauli Museum, the Faenza FACC and the Pandora Association. It is an artistic group born from the common desire to develop, through art, an ecological sensitivity for a more empathetic relationship between man and nature in transformation. Four artistic expressions, four different points of view to express with ceramics a unique feminine sensibility addressed to Mother Earth and her creatures. Even the choice of the group's name stems from the mysterious and magical relationship between the moon and woman, its phases with the repetition of the female cycle, woman and nature. From the group's deep desire for sharing and creative collaboration later emerged the desire to build something that would involve an artist outside the group itself. The intent was to give birth to an exhibition where the work of the group, already cohesive, would be enriched and stimulated by the invited artist, expressing their visions on a theme chosen on each occasion. Thus was born 'Four Moons + One Sun' where master Giovanni Cimatti, the Sun of the group, was involved, who with extreme willingness and generosity accepted the invitation. In this exhibition  The Way of the Bamboo bamboo is chosen as a well-known example of a resilient plant and, especially in the East, rich in many other symbolic meanings. A choice to tell personal and non-personal stories through storytelling with the ceramic material, which, differently declined in different artistic expressions by the members of the group, is a source of suggestion and a stimulus for a more empathetic relationship with nature in transformation.
