A Life, 2024
Molded in columbine with red clay
My work is a vase, recalling something ancient, the rounded shape of an amphora or the soft curves of a Mother Goddess. It tells a story of a life lived over 59 years, like the columbines that make it up, symbolizing one woman's existence, like that of many women. Now she looks at her segments from the outside, from another perspective, projected into a future of free creativity and humanity, where there is no longer to build vertically, but to be of the world and expand in it.
