Pit firing.

Today's presumption to think that the world is perfectible and the constant obsessive quest to improve the experience of our daily actions through objects has resulted in the dictatorship of cheap and plastic and the gradual abandonment of historical materials and with them the richness of decoration.
Instead, for me, the key to getting into the audience's heart remains the emotional connection, a key that comes through emotion and poetry, capable of give birth an idea of warm and primitive design that establishes an immediate and intimate relationship with man through ancestral forms, linked to the instinctive doing of man who takes of the formless earth and the transforms in objects and tools loaded with life.
Hypothesis is a cachepot vase, made using Pit Firing, a technique primitive
but as surprising as ever and a harbinger of unusual results. Pit firing is a technique capable of transcending the barriers of time by dissolving centuries of history, giving us the illusion that this vase could be the result of an archaeological excavation as much as the elaboration of a contemporary designer.
