A graduate of the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, she first devoted herself to photography then in 2000 began her journey with ceramics, drawing inspiration from nature and investigates the world of nature, from its origins to the deepest forms of degradation caused by pollution and consumerism and presents analogies with the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi: the beauty of imperfect and unfinished things. A work of observation that sometimes reaches back to geometric elements. Gilda, after experimenting with different artistic techniques, found in clay the suitable medium to unite the gesture of the hand with the design of the mind. She has participated in national and international exhibitions.
