Mitochondria are present in every single cell in our body. The energy that powers our thoughts, movements and creations comes from the mitochondria. The intricate inner membrane is where the energy necessary for life is generated. This vital organ is inherited from our mothers, who received it from their mothers, and so on, going back through the generations of maternal lineage.
