Since 2016, it has been in the permanent collection of the MUSEO DELLA CERAMICA DI NOVE (VI)
The creative process enacted starts from the suggestion of the loom, an ancient instrument referring to the feminine sphere, and takes shape in the conception of a blanket - ceramic canvas that symbolically expresses the importance of the women's relationship path. Penelope is the starting point of the work's path, as the archetype of a woman alone in a society that besieges her imprisoned in her solipsism of weaving and unweaving her cloth. Here then, the work evokes a new approach that moves from the individual to the relational. Penelope can only find her rest in a network of contact and mutual help from other women. The blanket thus becomes a shield against the violence of the Proci and, today, the point of arrival to establish new ways in response to the tending artistic and social homogenizations.
