Kazhal is a multidisciplinary artist from Tehran who works in drawing, printmaking, painting, and ceramics. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University (BA, Painting, 2014; MA, Illustration, 2017) and English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature, Tehran University. (2011) From Dec. 7, 2023 - June 1, 2024, she exhibited "SUBTERRA - The Footprint of Water" in Naples at the Lapis Museum - Naples Water Museum. In her works, Kazhal explores themes such as the fragility and delicacy of natural phenomena and related analogies with the human experience. Her work addresses the study of the integrity of the bodies of the
things and how an object in its totality can be defined and observed within its own structure. Her works are often derived from alterations made to photographs and using meticulous technique, reference the realistic qualities of photography. She is a member of the APS Pandora ceramic artists.
