Altar is an installation consisting of three statuettes of female bodies, earthenware bowls and
raw containing different natural elements, made from local clay. The decoration of the figurines, also inspired by the research work of Marija Gimbutas, uses an ancient code to address contemporary themes such as the balance between the masculine and the inner feminine, healing from a patriarchal idea of the feminine, and transfeminist resistance, celebrating the many ways of being a woman.
