May 2021 - "Women's Garden" Avigliana-TO

A new installation has come to life in Italy between Cava de' Tirreni (SA) and Avigliana (TO). This, in continuity with the path started in Croatia, with the International Event conceived by #Sandra Ban: # "EARTH ELEVATION " for the International Earth Day on April 22, 2021. The installation consists of ceramic stones, made by the artists of APS Pandora Artiste Ceramiste. Symbolic stones, laid to found a new path of belonging respect and wisdom. To mark this intent, writings and symbols reported on the made artifacts, express feelings and hopes and intentions of the authors in the particular contemporary historical experience. Marking and completing the installation is a slab elevated to a stele, depicting a stylized mater along with an inscription by Titus Lucretius Carus (1st century B.C.) referring to the Matres Naturantis. And, as the inscription reads, "thus at a fixed hour Matuta suffuses with the rosy light of the dawn..." and its spread through the ether until the end of the day, the ceramic stones, made and arranged according to the trajectories of a symbolic sundial clock,go to signal the hour of change.
