Black page

Black porcelain, altered turning, white porcelain engobe, glazes, transfers.

My figure is for me an area of "experimentation and learning." The experimental approach ends up adopting and combining various techniques. I construct some of my figures, such as Black Page, by combining many elements of the body worked on the lathe. My female sculptures are based on figurines of the mother goddess. To get to the intricate decoration of the porcelain body, I bake them several times. Through the images transposed onto it, my figures become the bearers of my visions, a diary page of my visual records.
