I am full of gratitude to life. Life has shaped me into who I am. It has given me and gives me periods full of happiness but also great pain, but I am always aware that even though the storm might sweep over me and bend me, it certainly can never break me! Bamboo, I want to be like bamboo; I am not afraid to bend, because the awareness of the resilience I carry within me reigns. Bamboo, beautiful metaphor of life in which I reflect myself. It takes 5 years to see its sprout from the seed. For 5 years it works invisible to our eyes, underground, expanding its roots to accommodate the size of its plant. Change is often viewed negatively, it is scary, but the ability to adapt helps transform and find the good even in negative situations, the ability to adapt. This is me, this is my bamboo.
