Series depicting Gaea, the primordial Great Mother: one of the greatest unconscious forces, oscillating between saving and destructive action. The masks feature clean, elemental lines that, reworking primitive artistic representations, are repurposed in a modern design. The pearl stoneware treated with sealed earth gives a sense of antiquity and sacredness, adorned with delicate inlays of prickly pear briar, emphasizing the indissoluble connection of ceramics with nature.
