Also this year, on the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women, the Pandora Association of Ceramic Artists is participating in the 5th Edition of the project of the Italian Association of Ceramic Cities - AiCC. Red Shoes in Ceramics to say NO to violence against women together with all 46 cities of ceramics. An even more heartfelt edition because it is dedicated to Afghan women, never before the object of violence and denied rights.
From next Nov. 25 to Jan. 5, 2022, the exhibition with side events, Matres Terrae ceramics&design, will be held at the Museo Archeologico Provinciale Campano in Capua.
Limportant international women's ceramics event will see, as it does every year on the occasion of the International Day Against Violence Against Women, the creation of an installation of hundreds of red ceramic slippers, a symbol of feminicide. Among the slippers by Pandora artists from around the world will be those made by some Afghan women artists who have fled and been hosted by Iranian women artists with whom the Association has been in contact for several years.
As in previous years, the ceramic shoes will be sold and the proceeds donated to a charitable initiative undertaken by a Capua area association.
